Remember that whitefang movie?

Remember that White Fang movie by alphanim being made like waaaaaaaaaay back when? Well apparently it won an award at a french animation film festival and will be distributed in 2017 by Superprod. I am hoping to view it when it DOES FINALLY show up but for a while I thought it was dead.

I turned 26! What's in the future?

I turned 26 on December 3rd! Can you believe it? I bet you couldn't tell with my sketchy art. Bet you thought a five year old made it. Soon I will be moving to Newfoundland in order to obtain a Msc in science. I have been looking forward to this but as it draws closer I realize how much I will miss my family and fur babies. I am a control freak so I have a lot of worries. I will be driving to the island so it should be good and my little kitten is coming with me. I am not happy about leaving her in a car while on the ferry (passengers can't be below deck during voyage for safety reasons) but its only 6-8 hours. There are so many opportunities on the horizon! Some of my life goals are still lingering though- like getting sterilized. I won't get into it but I didn't ave insurance for a long time so seeking appointments and such never happened. It is a HUGE lie that Canadians have free health care. It is not free and the wait times are awful.
I will be getting paid for my Msc but I am worried about money still. I don't want to do a second job but I will see how it goes. I will also be celebrating Christmas with just me and my baby kitten so it will be interesting.
Otherwise watching LOTS of movies and My Little Pony and christmas movies in general.Hopefully baking. I am kind of sad because Newfoundland has LOTS of moose but no wolves. I feel like they should just ship wolves to the island...*shifty eyes*. probably save many car owners from moose collisions.
Also, the older I get for some reason when I watch Homeward Bound and see Shadow struggling in the pit at the end- gets harder every time.

-Marley and Me- holy ssssssshhhhhhh I don't even watch this movie any more. Doesn't exist lalalalalala!
-MLP It ain't Easy Being Breezy- the message of pushing your friends away and knowing when to say goodbye.Makes it harder because Fluttershy is the 'animal friend' one.
-Futurama, Jurassic Bark. At the end....can't even keep it together.
-The Iron Giant- SUPERMAAANNNNNNN
Bojack Horseman- you were born broken. that is a little close to home.

Shows you watched as a kid

What are some tv shows you watched as a kid? Would you ever want a reboot or movie remake of them? Which ones would you pray to never see a remake?
I was watching youtube and saw a whole bunch from the 90s. I liked mostly shows about animals so if it had an animals theme I probably watched it despite the bad writing. Dog city was one that made me mad at waiting through the narration to get to the cartoons. Dark wing duck and the one about baloo flying a plane I also watched though I'm not sure how the jungle book transformed to pilots...
pokemon was one I watched but I secretly like digimon better. I know! Obviously Pokemon was the winner in popularity but the story was the same thing. Digimon had better characters and a slightly more complex story. And they talked. I like Pokemon but the name saying is batshit insane.
ren and stumpy was a favourite. I'm not sure my parents knew what the show was though. Same with wacos world....the dog and the cow. Another one I rewatch and think maybe not for younger kids. I also liked dexter lab more than the power girls. My little pony...the OLD one with weird faces and weak story lines I secretly watched as well. Speaking of which I watched rainbow bright just for the rainbow horse. Yes his voice was nails on a chalkboard but he was so pretty. I was obsessed with the movie for a while.
the goblin and the princess was another weird movie I had. The commercial in the beginning was weird as hell.
Cybersix was was kind of the cooler late night shows for me. It was on at 9 and my parents didn't like me watching tv that late so it was secret. I watched it for Data7. for some reason the super hero cartoons were not on when I watched tv so I only saw the special movies. They were a rare thing in my house and because they were special we only had a few vhs tapes.

DA Journal errors

I'm not sure why DA is giving me such heck here...I had to delete a bunch of entries because the scroll style really gives my computer a headache. Oh well looks like...it may get better?
I have been updating with some sketches and I hope to upload more...hopefully coloured. I got a new wacom last winter but I ventured out west for six months and never got the chance to use it. It was tons of fun though. I'm excited for the Friendship Games and The IRON GIANT IN THEATRES AGAIN. Yes. The Iron Giant. In theatres October 2nd! I'm so excited so see it on the big screen again. If you haven't seen it yet I recommend it.
In real life I am looking at graduate schools. I would love to go into my master's studies for science. I want to have the perfect opportunity but I don't want to be in debt either. I would love to continue my art as well which I am working on more and more. I have been watching Cinema Sins and Nostalgia Critic. I haven't applied for school this fall because my cat has cancer. Some people have said that I should take every chance regardless but I'm not that type of person to leave my nine year old cat. I have been gone for so long and when I came home I found out she had the type of cancer that doesn't really go away. I am sad about it but I'm not dwelling on it. I only emphasize with those who are looking at chemotherapy options of their pets. This and going back to my parents house has created mixed feelings. I don't want to complain on DA all the time- far from it- but I am just so happy to know I have PTSD. I am not happy I have PTSD but that I know why I act a certain way or think a certain way. I am not on here to rant about why it sucks and whatnot but that it feels like a weight is off my chest. For so long I thought my problems were because I was dumb or something. I know this is a sensitive topic but I'm just so happy to know that it wasn't my lack of trying or failures that made me so miserable.
Anyways, I am torn right now between wildlife, science and chasing small animals and colouring, sketching and enjoying creating artwork. I can always do both which I plan to. I just want to get into grad school so badly! I spent this past week looking at snakes and small herptiles. I was amazed at so much diversity and reminded how fragile it is.
